dave this just goes to show that despite what some say bikers do have hearts...what a massive turnout in such bad weather..both my sons are bikers but could not attend this year due to work commitments but i will show them your video... thanks dave
thanks dave a very informative and moving video...all battles were bad but the somme was a horrific battle..so many lost in such a short space of time including my gt aunts husband...

yes viv it will be good to see the plaque again...ken stowe will also be there...for members who would like to read about our erdington postmen it is quite a story...a story that many of our members got involved and helped with and the ending was just the best..i am so proud to have played a part in it...link to the thread is below
hi folks..despite the rain and cold weather a great turnout for the royal mails rememberance service yesterday smashing buffet lunch and entertainment under cover later on...a few pics here but i shall be posting more on the "these heroes were nearly forgotten thread" because as viv has said we feel as though we knew at least 7 of our brave fallen postmen..
