Moseley Kings Heath Line

I don't think there is any doubt that the line will open!

Most of the funding is available & not reliant on BCC funding.

Kings Heath Station - platforms look nearly finished.
Moseley Station - lots of work going on, causing chaos on main road with partial road closure. I suspect that's nothing to the chaos when the main road junction is altered and will continue when mini-island is in place.

Odd that you should put it that way. The pavements outside the Moseley station are currently blocked and there are temporary traffic lights there that slow down traffic on St Mary's Row on occasions. Not that much different from normal.
On the other hand Kings Heath station has its temporary lights up again for a couple of months. They put up signs on the bus shelters about this for a while before it happened this time. Traffic is single lane at the station and there are long lines all down Kings Heath high street - about as chatic as it gets. They reckon that phase will be over at the end of May.

There are usually two lanes from Moseley Village up Wake Green Road - inside lane for straight on, outside lane is a filter lane for turning right up Oxford Road. Inside lane closed at present. It only needs one car to stop/signal right-turn, to block the only lane and traffic comes to a standstill. Much worse than usual!
