Mike G

Like others, I spent a pleasant afternoon with Mike at the Bulls Head on Saturday.
Such a shock to hear this news now.
My thoughts go out to you Mike and your Family. Get well soon!

I'm truly shocked. I was thinking Saturday how well he looked. Mike is a big lovable man and if anyone is going to get though this he will. Cath and I will be praying for him.

I know about Mike's condition and just wanted to add my best wishes and hope he gets well soon. Our thoughts are with his family especially Maureen. Wendy and Michael

Mike I have never actually met you but through this Forum i wish you all the very best and hope to hear you are on the mend soon. Carol

I'm very sorry to hear the news about MikeG, and I do hope they find a solution. 6 weeks ago I was operated on for an aneurism in my leg, which was only discovered when I had key-hole surgery on my knee in April. Thankfully I have no other aneurisms, but it was a little scary at the time. So I can relate to his condition, and to how he must feel. I never met him, but he was a great supporter of Erdington Operatic Society and posted some very kind words.

If anyone is visiting, please pass on my best regards and wishes.

I read the bad news and felt Mike's pain having survived a blown aorta myself. I can only hope that Mike can be saved in the same way that I was. All the best Mike.

Sad to read such news. Like some only met via message board, a guy who didn’t hesitate to help me when he could. Can only hope that kindness is rewarded by a speedy recovery .

Also my apologies as I didn’t know about and thus couldn’t express my sorrow at the time about another sad occasion I’ve learned about on this thread.

So far, Today, I haven't received an update but rest assured that when I do it will posted here, both Mike and his family know that they are in all our thoughts and prayers.
If wishes and prayers alone could cure Mike, he would be running a marathon tomorrow.
