Meet Up At The Bull 3rd February 2018

Kat, they're £1 each and you can have as many or as few as you like. There's no pressure to buy any but it does help to keep the site running if you do.

The person who had organised it was a bit vague about the actual time he would remove it, so I was just going to pop my head around the door before 12pm to see if its still there.

For our new members I will put on my pink jacket (to match FAB 1) so you'll know it's me. I will be arriving in my Rolls Royce but on this occasion it will be heavily disguised as a Corporation bus. Just a thought - are they still 'Corporation' buses or am I giving my age away?

Glad you mentioned pink jacket, I will know who to look for to hand over 4 paintings to (one for you and 3 for raffle). I'm terrible for remembering faces. Eric

Thank you M'Lady.

Oh dear Lyn, that must be most unpleasant. I hope the medication soon clears up your illness and you will soon feel much better.
I suppose there is always a flip side: your husband must be having a quiet life. :D:D (just joking of course)

Sorry to hear you are not well. Do take care and I hope you feel better soon. You will be missed tomorrow. x

Lyn,

Sorry to hear that you have gone down with it, like many others in the UK. Whilst I've had a few bugs this winter, I've managed to steer clear of anything too serious. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick.

Lady P,

I hope your first get-together holding the reigns is successful as I am sure it will be, and sorry I can't manage to be there.

Enjoy yourselves and I look forward to seeing a few pics! :-)

Maurice

Elmdon Boy, I don't know how much the forum costs to run. I've never asked the question but if you private message one of the moderators they'll be able to tell you what goes into running things. I do know that the forum was off air for a while last summer and had to be repaired. Your bottle would be very welcome, thank you.

Robert, I've put you on the list (see Post #51 for complete list). It's never too late to come to the forum meet up, you can just turn up on the day if you want to. Always glad to see as many people as possible. The list gives an idea of who to expect that's all.

I knew Lyn wasn't well but I've had everything crossed in the hope that she would be well enough to come. I think we'd better get her some foo-foo pills as this is the second one she's had to miss!

Oh, Lyn, sorry you are not well. But you are doing the right thing by staying in, have a rest and hopefully you will be better soon.

xxxxxxx

Kat, I'm afraid there is no FREE parking, there are ample parking meters (about £1.50 for 2 hours) and a car park adjoining the Bull, similar priced, always plenty of space on a Saturday. Eric

Sorry it’s late in the day to decide, Lady P, but am now hoping to make it.

Chris
