Marriage look up 1780 St. Martins

Sparkhill Lad

master brummie
I would like to know if it is possible to check a marriage for:

Peter Fellows & Ann Boden 14/11/1780 at St. Martins.

Plus any family info it is possible to gather, parents etc.

Thanks:)

Thanks Alf

For your reply & PM.

Have tried that in th e past with no joy, now perhaps it has come down the line and I am loosing mine.

Will look to try and confirm mothers surname.

Sparkhill lad the original register only has the details you already have it's just a list of names no father is listed. It just states Peter Fellows and Ann Bowden marriage 14th November 1780. The information on the IGI may have been submitted by a family researcher but beware these are sometimes incorrect. When I have more time I will look for more family this does take time as there are 10 disks with thousands of names!

Still cannot confirm Ann's surname from family search site, I have tried it with Peter as lead name then Ann's but nothing.

Perhaps I really have lost it now.

Derek

That may be why I cannot find it thanks Moma P
You have it with a "W" in and I had it without.:)

Will try again.

Two heads always better than one.;)

Thanks

Derek

Hi Sparky the register is very faded and difficult to read. I looked again and am still unsure of the exact spelling so maybe the enumerators had the same problem. I would look for different spellings if I were you!

Thanks again Alf

Must be your fingers, I did put in all details including Peters name as spouse, with the variants on her surname, but hey, I've got it now.

Regards

Derek

Morning all,

Went to cenral library yesterday and after the fire alarm, which emptied the building, I looked through my list of things to do.
Then at the last I picked up on this one again...
Now it looks very much to me as if Ann's name is spelt Roden, & not Boden but had no time to look further as they about to close, 5pm.
The thing I was not ready for was the fact that she and Peter had both been widowed:rolleyes:
Looking for her name prior to this, this morning has been fruitless so far.
I feel another brich wall coming on.
