Going much further back in Lyndon Green history, this extract was posted by Pedrocut on the Mills of Birmingham thread. Could Lyndon Green Farm have been on/or part of the former mill site ? Could the farm location have been decided upon because of a connection in some way to the mill ? Although the mill is thought to have been medieval (c1500's?) part of the farm was B&W timbered (c1700's) so might have been around when the mill was still standing ? Just a thought, no firm evidence as such. Pity no early maps show the mill.
