Appreciate if someone could locate the Lozells Institute on a map please around 1840/1850 if possible. It may have been opposite the Villa Cross Inn/Tavern, so possibly around the Villa Road/Lozells Road/Heathfield Road area. Many thanks.

Thanks Janice. Suspected it might be difficult to locate. Samuel Horne of the Villa Cross Inn in 1849 seems to have promoted Handsworth Horticultural meetings at the Lozells Institution and the Institution was supposed to be opposite the Inn.
