My Grand father Thomas William Gibson jr was born 1897 at court 12/7 Lower Hurst Street Birmingham - His brother name was Harry Gibson, Frank Gibson and they had a sister called Florence Gibson - their Parents names where father Thomas William Gibson and Mother was Mary Ann Gibson nee Rothero. I don't know how long they lived in Lower Hurst Street, but they also have a connection to Ladywood as well, with Nelson Street, Barker Street & Garbett Street.
Do you have any photo's of Lower Hurst Street or a Map of Lower Hurst Street and marking where court 12/7 would be, I know that Lower Hurst Street was from Bromsgrove Street to Sherlock Street.
Later in life my Grandfather was Landlord of The Talbot Public House, 24 Moat Lane Digbeth Birmingham, the older premises which was demolished, not the new one, which has since change name to the Bullring Tavern
