Hi, I'm new here and I'm looking for any information on Walter Lowe b. about 1862 and Ellen (Fisher) Lowe b. about 1869, in Aston, B'ham.

They had 1 son, Arthur Bernard Lowe b. 1904, who emigrated to Canada in the early 1900s (my grandfather). They had several daughters, but the only information I can find are 4 daughters, named Lily Beatrice b. 1891, Violet Blanche b. 1893, Laura b. 1898 and Maud b. 1900.

I have information that Violet was baptized at All Saints Hockley in 1896.

I was wondering if
1. Anyone has any further information on these Lowes?
2. If anyone would know whereabouts they would have been buried if they lived in Aston and were C of E?
3. Anything else anyone might have, like marriage records, etc.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer. I will be travelling to the UK next month and really hope I get a chance to visit Birmingham.

Hi Cathy

Have looked through the births and found these --

Ellen Elizabeth Fisher 1st qtr 1869 Aston 6d 373

Walter Lowe 3rd qtr 1865 Birmingham 6d 143

Lily Beatrice Lowe 4th qtr 1890 Aston 6d 353

Can't seem to pinpoint the other names you gave as yet and i can't find the family on the 1891 and 1901 Census yet, will keep looking and perhaps others might pick up on this thread and also look, surprising what fresh eyes can do.
