Hi all
I'm researching family roots in Sparkbrook (specifically the Dourass family) and i am trying to track down any surviving street or courtyard photographs.
The specific spots i am hoping to find images of include:
Kyrwicks Lane - particularly around court 2/numbers 95-105 near St James Place and the railway line
Marshall Street South - notably court 2 running between Larches Street and Turner Street
Larches Street - any pre demolition or 1930-1960s street views.
I know much of this area was cleared in the post war redevelopments, so id love to see anything from early postcards through 1960s/70s pre-clearance surveys or family snapshots showing the yards, back to back, or street fronts.
Any photos, memories, or pointers toward specific collection references would be hugely appreciated!
