Kings Norton Church

Pretty sure Betsy Mansell married John Slater circa 1840. Also have Betsy Mansell Kings Norton 464 - 18 and John Slater Kings Norton 464 - 18

From above Vol and Page can it be worked out which parish church they got married from?

Thanks

Ray

Thanks for link and info both.

Reckon marriage certificate is best bet, although that will only give me father’s name. Which is fine but all 3 couples of whom I think could be his parents had him christened in Warwick.

I know that for some registration district in Bristol this has been done, (working out church from page numbers) but don't think it has been done for Kings Norton. I undestand it is possible to do it as when the returns came in they were entered church by church.

Sounds like a good proect for someone

Thanks for the info Mike

Part of my mixed ancestry is Bristol way so will keep that in mind.

From link it seemed I should contact Worcester, received reply below - confused as 1840 is between 1837 - 1912?

I have checked our records for the marriage of John Slater & Betsy Mansell but have been unsuccessful.
Most of the Kings Norton district falls within the Birmingham Registration District so I would suggest that you contact them to see if they have the record."
