King Edward House New Street

That nicely designed entrance to King Edward House has survived (next to 'Avon' on the B&W photo)
The Co-Op used to have it’s offices in King Edward House ( Human Resources etc )
This was the plan for King Edward House. The facade seems to be as per the plan. The building was built on the former King Edward School site - a controversial move at that time.
Most people agree that nothing could adequately replace Pugin's KEGs building. But the 1930s King Edward Building in its place is, all the same, striking. There's a problem, however. How do you get to appreciate it's architecture ? To me, it almost seems too big for that part of New Street and you can rarely get a full view of the whole building.
