My Mother was Carole Parsons and My Grandad was Alfred Buckley..who where your mother and father.. I have many fond memories of Buckleys newsagentMy Uncle Alf Buckley owned a newsagents shop on Witton Island. When he died his daughter and son in law Carol Parsons carried on running it. My father and I sold newspapers on the Island in the early 50's

Oh wow.. Its so nice to hear people still remember my grandad.. Was he nice to work for or a nightmare lol..he could be a stickler and like things done his way.. Did you ever meet Ken and Carole who also worked in the shop?... Aston had a brilliant community in those daysI delivered papers for Alf all those years ago and so did my brother Albert before me Dave. Happy days.
