can anyone remember the sunday coronation league amatuer football and any of the teams who played in it?

Hi Janet, in the late 60's I started a team (Redhill) from our very successful school team (not modest am I ). We started in the Birmingham Boys League and went into the Coronation League a couple of years later. They put us about halfway up the divisions, I think there were about 20???. This meant that us 17 year olds were playing mostly pub teams whose players were in their 30's and 40's, had seen better days and knew all the tricks, but sure could kick!
I went in for a ball when we were playing on the pitches above what is now Stetchford Baths, broke their goalkeepers leg - accidentally - and got threatened all through the rest of the game!:(

David I think I was there the day the goalkeeper had his leg broken and can remember Redhill. Do you remember Keeley Rovers and the Counts?

The Festival League but I have the teams that played there in the early 1960s

There were 11 leagues in 1962-63 Season:)
