Yes it does. Whenever I take flowers to Lodge Hill Cemetery where Mom and Dad are buried, I put in a sprig. Rosemary for Remembrance.

Just wandered round the garden with my camera.

The Gaillardia (Indian Blanket flower) is a complete surprise. I grew some from seed last year. Got lots of foliage but no flowers. Today I found this one solitary bloom.

Fantastic i have heard them

Thanks Don. We get them frequently here, I think it’s because we’re near a wooded area.
They love an old tree or to eat from a hanging fat ball.
They fell out of favour with me some time back as they raided a nearby blue tit nest…
They make me smile, they really are like the Woody Woodpecker carton, hammering with their beaks!

quite pleased with my front hanging basket this year...took it down to dead head and water as its not usually sitting on the bin there is a white bizzy lizzie at the back but cant see it from this angle..
