A quote from April 16th.'25. Pond level up at this level again today for the first time since April. Shows what a prolonged spell of dry weather we have enjoyed. My ,we had some rain last night down here in South West, garden pond went from about a foot below it's normal level to full to brim. Refilling aided by the water diverted from the downpipe on a conservatory using a device meant for water butts but adapted with a 7m length of plastic corrugated tube that routes the water into the pond.
We will cut until the end of October or early November then have a final clean up mid November. The good news is that we have an irrigation system, the bad news is that we have an irrigation systemthats it done the last grass cut for 2025![]()
I think its great for front gardensMy artificial grass never needs attention Except to sweep a few leaves off. Never any weeds growing through either. Why are some people so snobbish about " that`s not grass " as one of my neighbours said!
