IN OUR GARDEN 2024

Neglected the top end of my back garden but it looks good with the roses and the nettles flowering up through them. Lots of small birds sparrows and a few blackbirds have taken up residence.

A perfect bit of cover for the birds, Eric. :)

Lovely pics again Steve. Your garden must look lovely with such a variety of plants and colours. We don't have any lawns front or back. Much prefer bushes etc that give us colour throughout the year

It's very sparse at present. I have not planted any bedding yet, due to the miserable weather. Lots of cold, northerly winds, for weeks, although forecast to improve from Wednesday.

This is what a couple of weeks of cold wind can do.

In contrast, a wee bit of shelter from that wind.

The weather has started to improved, so we bought some bedding yesterday.

The prices are high up here. What you see in that picture, plus two 5 lt. bags of compost, cost £145. We would usually buy twice that amount, and could fill the garden for a little over £100.
