Not familiar with either, based on the above, you need to be careful with both, buddleia and Japanese knotweed!
 
i leave the Knotweed alone last time i messed with it i ended up in hospital with burns (NOT PJ):) on my face and arms so be carefull as you say
 
We have had a very pleasant day, with sunshine, and around 15 deg.

Sadly, the forecast was for rain, and it's arrived, with a vengeance.

Thunder and lightning, and heavy rain.







The thunder does not seem to be moving away, just rattling about over the village.

When we arrived home, ten days ago, after a wee trip South, I was not happy to find my Lacecap in a very sad state, due to three days of sunshine.



I decided to give it a chance, along with two gallons of water, plus regular drinks thereafter. All is not lost. We have new growth.





The owner/gardener of the B&B that we stayed at, was kind enough to give me a honey scented Buddleia, which seems happy in its new home.




"Buddleja davidii 'True Blue' is the bluest of all buddleja - with panicles of nectar-rich, purple blue, beautiful honey scented flowers borne from July to September each year. If this is not enough, the foliage which is held from March to November each year, is silvery green and will shimmer as it catches the breeze."

The huge flower of Amorphophallus Konjac, a relative of the giant Titan Arum that rarely flowers at Kew. I have grown this from a tiny tuber which has now grown to 6" across, I dig it up in the Autumn before the first frosts and overwinter the tuber in our veranda

In our East Suffolk garden this morning. Hot sun and cold wind again. The pink flower is a Thunbergia which is a new climber recently bought. I think it is usually in yellow and known as Black Eyed Suzie.

I've never seen pink, but it looks great. and here is my piece of the garden - buttercup.
