Hi, Astonian, wasn’t Bertha the daughter of Walter and Catherine Hinton (nee Wootton)?
Walter and Catherine were married in St Mark’s Church,Marylebone, London on April 14th 1877.
Walter’s father,Charles, was a shepherd in Chipping Norton and Catherine’s father,William, was a soldier.(deceased)
At the time of their marriage Walter was also a soldier.
