Thank you very much Shera. I am confused as to the spelling Druscher which I had always believed to have been Drescher. Can you cast any light? Thanking you. Eve

very sorry eve. yes i think it is drescher. the record is very faded and difficult writing but you are right it is drescher :boohoo:

Thanks for the reply Shera. It is quite amazing to hear from so far away. Now I have to try the records in Germany. Eve

Hi Eve, my name is John Stevenson, Ewan Reid's father-in-law. We have met but I wonder if you have had any success in your search for the Drescher history. I have several documents and many details including the Marriage register for John Drescher and Mary Bruner. Let me know how much you have traced and if I can be of further help. I have an extensive tree for the Dreschers. Kind regards, John

hi john...the last post eve made was way back in 2009 and if you look she is now only a guest member which means that unless she rejoins the forum she will not be able to reply to you

Thanks Lyn, for the speedy reply. My hope was that, somehow, I was able to make contact with Eve as I have a mutual interest in her family search. Is there any way I can reach Eve, other than through the Forum?
John

sorry john i am afraid not....if eve was a member you could have sent her a private message via the forum but again she needs to be a full member for you to do that....sorry i cant be of more help
