Grave type abbreviations

Please can anyone tell me the meaning of the abbreviations for grave types in burial records ie: BY, EG and Reop E ?

Reop means grave reopened for a further burial after the first. Usually a family grave.

What crossed my mind is BY - burial, EG – Entombment placing a coffin or cremation urn in an existing vault and Reop E being a reopened existing grave plot.

Thank you. That confirms that my paternal grandparents are in the same grave and saves me purchasing another burial record as my Grandmother passed away first I just need to find the two relatives in Staffordshire now

I can't read it properly but sometimes the numbers refer to the depth of the grave and the number of burials.
