Hi Bob. Perry Beeches II in JQ is now open and has it's first year 7 cohort. The Academy (along with Perry Beeches in Great Barr) has a good reputation. https://www.perrybs.bham.sch.uk/perry-beeches-the-academy-trust/
These are all good signs for the area such as people wanting to get their children into the school, consequent demands on property, knock on effect for local businesses etc etc. Now I suspect that there was a similar outlook when the G&D extended in the 1860s that is in the form of the Albert Works (now Argent Centre) when it opened its doors. A lot of activity with that and other developments around the area. So let's hope history repeats itself. Looking good so far. Viv.
