At least they are not tearing down that magnificent structure!Passing down Lower Villiers Street and took picture of the Niphon Works, built around 1865. Now in process of being turned in to flats. At least the frontage appears to be proseved.

There was a Firkins on Bearwood Rd Smethwick. Custard slice, Eccles cake and those pineapple tarts with icing on the top. Don't know about Firkins in Birmingham?Firkins Bakers shops returning to the Black Country!
I think I remember there were some of their shops in Birmingham too.
