That’s where I went on Friday and Saturday night and when the Plaza opened on Rookery Rd, we would go there on Saturday! Great times and all were within a meager apprentices budget!

Remember it very well. Mostly on Friday and Saturday nights. I was bronze and maybe if my memory serves me right silver!
Late 50’s, they were great times!

I managed to get my IDMA medals for ballroom and Latin up to gold standard I loved going to dance

Enid and Charles in 1949. Can't say I remember her looking like this but the photo would have been 10+ years before I went there. I thought she had blond hair by the 1960s.

I remember the blond hair, certainly not brown/black….late 50’s.
