Crooked house

My cousin and her husband lived in a house at the back of Monkspath Hall.
Her husband went to try to stop the demolition - to no avail
so the resident mentioned in this bit from wiki could have been your cousins husband jan...how on earth someone can demolish the wrong building beats me...

Court cases

[edit]
Following a 1981 Crown Court trial, the demolition company responsible, D. Doyle Contractors, The driver, who was a director of the firm and who had been warned beforehand by a local resident that the building was listed, was fined £1,500
