My daughter Stephanie lives near Nantwich in Chesire, not far from Crewe,
and last summer,(remember it), we visited Heritage Centre am posting a couple of photos the anaraks might like, cheers Bernard

The Crewe Railway Centre is well worth a visit if you are ever in the area, I know a lot of people take the kids to see Thomas the Tank Engine, but theres plenty for
grown ups too, have turned up a couple of pics, Have fun, Stay warm Bernard
 
Pop music impresario Pete Waterman has a loco works at the Crewe centre where lovely old steam locos are restored.
 
Hi Laurie, some years ago Pete Waterman came to look at the old railway siddings at Chadderden, near Pride Park and was going to spend about a million pounds on
the site, and then pulled out for some reason I dont recall seeing his loco at Crewe, will have a look next time I go, cheers Bernard
