With reference to the army camp mentioned in post#53, in another thread 'South Yardley, Broadstone Rd (originally Pool Lane)' there is an c1946 aerial view of several Nissen huts in what looks like a disused army camp in fields where Hadland Rd is today.I was there in 1943 and I did not see any soldiers, the army camp was alongside Garrets green lane on the Outmore road side from the Tech( that was) to the Meadway, Len Copsey was there at the same time.
