Hi All
My ancestor moved to the St Pauls area of Birmingham where he brought up his family. He then moved to Duddeston away from them. His occupation was then changed from carpenter and joiner to coach builder. Anybody any idea what was in that area which required his skills, the railways come to mind but thats just a guess

He could have worked for Metropolitan Cammell who had a works in Saltley at one time before moving up to Leigh Road, Washwood Heath.

Could be the Railways or the Car Trade at a Guess, I worked a few months at Vauxhall Brish Railways as a Wagon Repairers mate there in 1960s:)
