For the better Richard.
Family ancestors arrived here in Jonesborough in 1747 and my house is on land once owned by an ancestor.
Guess you could say I came home.
That is a wonderful story, welcome home! When I came to the US I settled in NJ. When we were married in 1969 we had an appointment in Wayne NJ, After Thanksgiving my new wife and I visited the Dey Mansion, pronounced Dye. Richard Dye was a general for Peter Stuyvesant who settled NYC when it was called New Amsterdam. Needless to say we were treated royally at the museum. A good story but not as good as yours, enjoy TN. We have lived in NJ, NY, OK, SC and NC but love TN.
