Did you meet "Metrogogo" at the Discovery Terrace? Why don't you upload your photos any more?

First question No I did not meet Metrogogo on the roof (he always post his photos the day after he take his photos )
I only know him be sight
Second Question I am rather protective with my photos I was quite happy to publish them on Flickr that was till I saw that there was a free software called Snapshot it sadly can copy any and I do mean any photo from the Web, this means that any numpty can copy a photo and what they like with it, so the decision was made to delete all of my photo, unless someone can come up with a way to protect them, all photos I take these day go to my archive the pity is that I nearly had Six Million views of my photos it would have been nice to have had the Six Million views (or more)
I use Creative Commons licences. But don't think your watermarks really helped. And sites do "steal" our photos without our permission!
There is a thread here on the Flickr Help Forum to report image theft. Not sure how it works though!
Flickr: The Help Forum: [Official Thread] Flickr partners with Pixsy to fight image theft
Leticia Roncero: Updated February 8, 2022: As of February 1, 2022, Pixsy is no longer available as a Flickr Pro Perk. ----------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone, We’re excited to announce our new partnership...www.flickr.com
It looks like Pixsy would only monitor 1000 photos and 10 take down notices.

Did you delete your Flickr / cancel your pro account?
You could upload them directly to the forum instead?
Any image which can be seen on a computer screen can be copied without using any fancy software it just needs a press of two keys. If anyone does not want an image to be copied then do not put it on any website.
With regard to Flickr and similar image storing sites from which pics are displayed on the BHF using 'hot links' the pics can instantly disappear if they are deleted from the image hosting site.
The effect of this can be seen in the 'Metro Work Begins' thread ... all of horsencart's pics regarding work on the Metro have disappeared and the links now just show a 404 error. Comments other members posted about the pics now refer to non existent pics !
