same as me Morturn i have been into mechanical things since i had a mechano set at 6.

There seems to have been, generally speaking, a train of thought prevalent in schools, that all young boys would end up in some form of engineering or factory type work. It didn't help me.
Similarly when moving to Devon, at 16 year of age, I found, again generally speaking, that most boys were assumed to go into the navy or fishing industry.
 
visited today...weather was good and quite warm..the old red phone box was out of order today but happy to report hobbs chippy was open after the small fire they had..in fact both chippies were open as there was quite a few visitors..as always had a smashing time:)

mike i took a picnic today in way of a change but must admit the smell from the chippies was very tempting :D
