just a trivial thing really but the Birmingham banner at the top of my page is too long for my screen I think I just get about the edge of the shield on. I have my setting on 100 if I go to 75 it is to small to read but I get all the banner any suggestions

Get a wider screen. Try a different web browser - I am using 'Google Chrome' and find it more stable that Internet Explorer. Takes a bit of getting used to but OK. Or try Firefox.

Failing that wait for an expert to turn up.

Patty mines the same and i have got a 22inch screen i change the size of the sreen yesterday and it was still the same

Don't forget, you can hold down the CTRL key whilst pressing + & - keys to zoom in & out with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

It's only the banner the main part is fine, the banner looks a bit blurred in comparision with the rest??????

Patty most of us have the same 'problem' and it has been discussed before but I for one won't change my settings as this is the only site I visit that does this. I think that it happened when 'Postie' added the banner and I'm just going to sit and wait until Jim can get it sorted for us.

Graham.

sorry Graham hadn't seen it, Its not a problem to me just wondered if it was just my laptop that was at fault

My 17" laptop screen shows it OK Patty never had any prob's with the desktop either I would look at your monitor settings, although if all the rest of your page is OK then I have no more to add SORRY.

Same as Forward said for mine though maybe a tad on the short side (the banner not Forward)

I have the same problem with the Barons posts :D but it has been mentioned on another post about the banner under the title of the motto:)

Hiya, Yes, the fault with the banner is at this end, we are trying to sort it out but unfortunately it is proving more difficult than we exspected.
Don't worry, we are on the job.
