Can anyone provide any information on what we believe are at least two shops - maybe more - in Birmingham that were owned by the Archer family, at least as far back as 1880. We are assuming it was initially George Archer, then his son Albert George Archer and after him George William Archer.
One shop was at Six Ways and from what we found the building was demolished in 1937/38. There is a also a tea shop mentioned at Six Ways.
Other addresses include Hollyfield Road (a Mr Brookes) which we have limited information on from 1969, and Albert Road/Rookery Road (this one had employees in the 50s/60s called Dawn and Norman)
