Hi all

My grandfather used to have butchers/greengrocers shops in Birmingham but not sure what area or areas. I am presuming they would have been called Amisons, would anyone have any info or pics?

(They lived in Upper Highgate Street so maybe shop was nearby?

Thanks

Lisa

Lisa any clues like his name how old would he be when he had the shop.

He would have had shop definately 1936 - 1950, quite likely before and after those dates though. His name was Edward Amison and his wife was Hilda.
