Hi John, Not something I would normally attempt and I'm sure others on here will do a much better job of it.

Thank you phil.
I appreciate the help. I believe the man on the top far right maybe my grandfather who died 3yrs before I was born. The man to his left is my great grandfather. And If I am correct the man top left would be my grandfathers brother who died in the first world war but served in the boer war. This photograph must have been taken before 1915.
Thanks again John

hello john bev
im new on here and researching a bloke named jack costello a birmingham boxer who fought for the british middleweight title in 1908
while looking through the site i came across your photo that you wanted enhanced so i hope you dont mind me having a go at it
ive just discovered 'photoshop' and am trying to learn how to use it. its pretty time consuming but once i really get the hang of it i think
it will be a great tool. i had to guess a bit with the left hand side of the burly chaps face (top right) as that side of his face was totally
in bright sunshine when the picture was taken. i hope its an improvement on what youve got. regards davidreconstruction12.jpg

Photos like this are always a bit tricky because you are trying to recover information that is just not there. Saying that, it is an interesting image, do you know anything about it?

This is my attempt. I've concentrated on bringing detail out of the face of the gentleman on the right hand side using the residual data in the photograph, rather than adding any new. Its a tricky one, but this is the best I could do.

Thank you very much for your help with the tidy up of my photograph. It is very much appreciated. The photograph was given to me by my cousin. The only man I know for certain is the man second from right along the top who was Joseph Hanks my Great grandfather who died in 1927. His occupation was a glass blower. I believe the two men on the bottom to be his work colleagues. The other four men on the top are my Grandfather and his three brothers. The medals worn by the man on the top left (I believe to be my Great uncle Joseph Hanks) were from the Boar war as this man died in WW1 in 1914. So this photograph must have been taken before 1914. If anyone could confirm or correct me on the medals I would appreciate it.
Thanks again
John
