79 Glover's Rd, Small Heath in 1907

Hi there,
A question that I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with? Is there somewhere on this forum that it is possible to see old photographs? I have got a copy of an old Ordnance Survey map of Small Heath and Sparkbrook from 1903 and am keen to see what it might have looked like. Glover's Road and Bolton Road in particular. On the back of this map are listed the names of the roads, the house numbers and I'm presuming the names of the people that lived in them at the time. Some of them have occupations listed and some just have the name of the person. It states that directory extracts are from Kelly's Directory of 1907. I thought these were the listing for occupations, if that is so, why would just the names on their own for some be shown? Sorry, there was more that one question!!
 
Kellys do give some private addresses, more in later years. If you put the names of the roads you are interested into the search box, then you should find some photos of interest
 
In 1911, 79 Glovers road, Small Heath.

John Shuttleworth age 68 b Hykeham Lincs Gardener,own account (self employed)
Sarah ann age 68 b Coventry
Sarah Peel Shuttleworth age 24 , daughter ,single.born Edgbaston

John Archer Shuttleworth(his father John) married Sarah Ann Peel(her father Henry)
11th November 1867 St Michaels Coventry
They had 11 children , only 6 alive in 1911.
 
Unfortunately there are very few of the original houses left in Glover's Road. However, as luck would have it, the one my great grand parents lived in in 1901 (no.64) still stands:

As this would have been almost opposite 79 I think it reasonable to assume that property would have been similar.

Much of Langley Road which leads off Glover's Road is still largely original so would give a good idea what Glover's Road may have looked like. See https://tinyurl.com/y5pu9vt8 (hope this link works!)
 
Thank you to everyone for replies. I am looking at the 1903 Ordnance Survey map again. I had relatives that lived on Waverley Road overlooking the park, I think. Can anyone tell me how to work out what the house numbers are?? My Grandfather Charles William Rogers worked at BSA and I am just starting to look into his history. I have got census and electoral info and am taking it from there.
