    Key Hill Cemetery Memorial Inscriptions

Hi again Wendy, Is there anything for a Henry Howell who died 21 May 1856? There were several Henry Howells in the area but I now have it confirmed that mine died on this date. His wife was Mary Parker Howell who died around 1865. Both were of Allison Street, Birmingham. Many thanks.

    Police Service Records

Hi all, I have tried to reach the Police Museum as well, a number of times over the past 6 months or so but get no reply to email or phone. A real shame since I have two ancestors who served in the 1850s and otherwise I am at a dead end. If anyone hears of any progress on access to the...

    Howell Look-Up

Hi Shera, Thanks for your reply. I think it was you who looked up the marriage for me before on another thread, indicating it was St Martin's Worcester on that date. Is that different from St Martin's Birmingham? I find I'm getting confused with the Warwickshire/Worcestershire thing around...

    Howell Look-Up

Thanks everyone. Does anyone have St Martin's records where it should show marriage of Henry Howell to Mary Parker on 17 June 1816? It would be helpful if that gave a parent's name for Henry so I could determine if the family we're talking about above is the right one. I have another source...

Birth & Marriage Look Up Please

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. Yes, sorry, Catherine Howell's DOB was 1837, so that might be the right Christening record. Henry & Mary Howell's children were Maria (1828), Martha (1830), Ann(1831), and James (1832), as far as I know. So not sure if the Christening...
