I thought the original plan to Euston was scrapped by the previous government, but was then reinstated. The tunnels from Old Oak Common to Euston are almost completed. The tunnel boring machines (TBM) are named Madeleine and Karen. Madeleine set out in January this year.

I too have some vague recollection of Miller being based in Aston. Their lighting kit and dynamos on bikes was quite common. Im sure they did bulbs for bikes too.

It interesting to me in how the design of these older motorised push bikes and mopeds has now come full circle. The modern high end eBikes are a very similar design. The trusty moped, which I now think it of as a hybrid would not look out of place with an electric motor.

I did a drone survey over Windermere Fields in Wake Green a few weeks back. With a bit of digital processing you can see the previous football pitch markings, some ancient fields marking and the WWII Dig for victory allotments set up by a local school.
