Didn't he use that land to run his bikes? I'm sure I heard them, but I never ventured in, which now seems a very good decision.

Thanks so much for posting that, the detail given of the day are terrific and I love the fact that they lunched at The Yenton between their two rounds.

I have "Trefor" as he pronounced it, to thank for sorting out my handwriting. He also taught my father, so our handwriting was remarkably similar. I remember he used graph paper, to make sure that the proportions of all our letters, were exactly right. I well recall Mr Smith bringing older...

Tragically, the storm claimed the life of a man in Silver Birch Road in Erdington yesterday afternoon, when a tree fell down and hit his car. I'm sure that our thoughts are with his family and his friends, at this sad time:

A fallen 14-foot tree branch at Cole Valley Road in Hall Green, being attended to by fire crew today and a fallen tree last night at Villa Road/Heathfield Road, but Porthcawl, has been more heavily hit (although some people, seem all too ready to ignore the potential danger  ):

Pictures below are: 1 - A ticket for the 1964 show, 2 - The Fab 4 in Brum 11/10/64, 3 - Watching themselves on TV, before their 1965 Odeon concert, 4 - Fans queueing at the Odeon...

Scams: telephone, email, texts 2023, 2024

Received this decent "Black Friday" warning from First Direct today, that might be worth sharing: Remember – if it seems too good to be true, it probably is Before you do anything else, Take 5. Stop, think, and don’t get pressured into anything. If you’re unsure about an offer, confirm it’s...
