sorry john but nothing appears on st. martins records. there are baptisms for jukes up till 1871 then one in 1924, nothing in between!

the fact that she appears on the electoral rolls in 1939 means she had to be at least 21yrs at that time, so the latest her birth could be is 1918.

do you know if she was married in 1939? in 1941 theres a marriage of elsie I evans to stanley a fownes in bham if this is her husband in 1950 they were living 49 goodway rd. perry barr and in 1955 at 6 arran rd. stechford. it could be another elsie I evans though, but just posting it in case!
