Whilst visiting someone, they showed me an old magazine that they owned, all about Bournville. I was able to take pictures, albeit, in a wee bit of a hurry.

It's very sparse at present. I have not planted any bedding yet, due to the miserable weather. Lots of cold, northerly winds, for weeks, although forecast to improve from Wednesday.

One Lilly has decided to bloom.
But, there are plenty more to come.
The Escalonia has opened in the last couple of days.
The scent off this is superb.

I bought half a dozen Geraniums from Lidl, on Tuesday. Good size plants.
I am very carefully, hardening them off.
It's almost Winter like, here. Fresh snow on the hills, and feeling only 3 deg. when we went for a walk this morning.

A Blackbird decided to try and bathe in a wee tray, holding a cutting, in the garden.
I knew that there was not much water , so went to top it up. I was within a couple of feet , before Mr. Blackbird hopped out, and waited for the refill.
