There is a thread for Little Bow Street with a map showing number 4, I would think it is just off the photo on the right near the lamppost. https://birminghamhistory.co.uk/forum/threads/little-bow-street.52341/#post-699061

    Where in Birmingham is this

Hi, welcome to the forum. A very nice photo, obviously the factory with the numerous skylights is a distinguishing feature, if you had a rough idea of the area you could perhaps locate the factory on the britainfromabove.org website. If you subscribe (there is no cost involved) it then lets you...

    Fazeley street

On the maps attached and referring to the 1939 register, the building on the corner of Barn Street/Fazeley Street was #1 Barn Street the Royal Oak PH. The next entry on the register is 151a Fazeley Street, so back tracking gives #147 (coloured red) 4/147 would be in the courtyard, Mike Jee may...

    Newtown Row

A comparison of Newtown Row in the 1950s to Walmer Lane in 1830. Numerous gardens, a grammar school, the asylum and large tranches of land owned by private individuals and companies (I imagine these owners became mega-rich when the housing boom started). Not many streets north of New John...

Post #150 has several colour photos of Muntz Street, this shows The Small Arms Inn which was #64, #70 would have been the shop next door to the television service shop.
