I have one just seen this post re my Uncle Frank Millichamp who worked at Wright Ropes, I know that Astonian has passed away, I’m sorry I didn’t see this when he was alive.
There is a book called ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ it is all about the open air schools that were run by Birmingham Council, including Cropwood and Hunters Hill, it is quite expensive to buy but you can get it from your local library.
