Easter Sunday 2011, Wales. Just put on the Ink Spots on my iPod plugged into my Roberts player. They are singing Why do you whisper green grass. Suddenly found myself in the front room playing the windup record player; I am about thirteen. When it finishes I go out through the front door into Guildford Street. Across the road I see Valerie Hale and Barbara Clarke skipping; I don't know at the time that Barbara and I will be very good friends in a couple of years but I am only just learning how to appreciate girls. Get on my track bike with the fixed wheel and join Duncan Bagley and Johnny Wells racing down Farm Street towards Summer Lane ..........
