Samuel Saul

I'm looking for Samuel John Saul around/between 1900 - 1911.
I can't find him anywhere on the 1901 & 1911 censuses.

He was born in Oldbury 17/09/1878, married Catherine Pilsbury at Parish Church, Oldbury, Worcester 25/12/1911 & died Bilston, Wolverhampton 27/10/1940.

Parents are William Saul (1840-1918)
Fanny Saul (1842-1904)

The 1881 census has them living at 2 Roway(?) lane, Rowley Regis, Dudley.

Any info would be appreciated.

Yes Sue, I found William & Fanny.....
Never gave the Boer war a thought, so that could be a possibility. Still wouldn't explain him not being around for the 1911 census though.

It IS 'Roway lane' & should have read '1891' in the first post. Parents were still there in 1901 too.

Ta for your input.
