Martin. Gt Russel St.

master brummie
I'm asking for help on this as I'm finding it a little hard to concentrate just lately.

On the 1901 census Miriam Martin is shown at court 1 house 5 Gt Russell st aged 57 from Cambs. This lady is no relation to me, but my Gt Gran was a lodger at her house (Sarah Oldfield)

Miriams husband Joseph Martin died in 1900 of apoplexy and on the cert Miram gives her name as Melinda Miriam Martin, and made her mark instead of signing.

The address on the death cert is the same as on the 1901 census, so it is the correct person.

The reason I am interested in this lady is because her l;odger, my Gt gran disapears after the 1901 census, and I wondered if they had moved away together,

Thank you
Barrie.

Milinda Miriam Martin is on the 1911 census. living alone at the same address as the 1901 Census. She is a widow, age 67 and a Pen Worker. Her place of birth is listed as Isle of Healy, Cambridgshire. That should read Ely.

Your gran is not listed.
