  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I have found this photo and do not have any idea who this young man is. I was wondering whether anyone recognises the uniform or could put a date to it. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have found an ancestor who was in the Royal Garrison Artillery (87th Siege Battery) could this be him?
 
I agree, KRRC. There's not much to go on there is there ? Before brumgum's posting I was thinking that the button that peeps above the belt looked like it might be Light Infantry. Either way, I don't think he's RGA.
