That looks lovely Di. This year we filled six of those 'sack planters' (green plastic wiv 'oles in the sides) and did those instead of hanging baskets.
We filled them with Impatiens (Bizzy Lizzies) and popped a large petunia on the top of each and they look a treat. Well, until the heavy rain of the last few days knocked some of the blooms off. They'll recover though and, I hope, give us pleasure until the first frosts. Something we did a couple of years ago: a length of black drainpipe shoved into a large pot, filled with compost, trailing plants planted up through holes cut along the length.
Very effective.
