George Blackham 11220 Worcestershire R and 389136 Labour Corp.

I can only presume George died in Canada (Ontario ?) sometime after his return to Canada in 1959. As mentioned, this is after the date death records are available for.

I checked findagrave but couldn't see anything for him or Laura.
 
Seems a good possibility. I just noticed that John's obituary mentions 2 sisters in Canada - May being the second but her emigration mentions John.
