How interesting that those kids going over to Switzerland for a spot of recuperation before the war had to stay untill the war was over.
 
Yes Stephen. That must have been quite an experience in Davos for those youngsters. Also meant to say to anyone looking at this thread is that there are various snippets in the 'Recent Posts' on the right-hand side of the site's home page. Many draw on the logbooks of Floodgate Street School and Tinkers Farm School. Even some of the teachers behaviour comes into question. And there's a creepy pic of a cane - some will doubtless remember that all too clearly. Viv.
